The First One . . .

To Join the Normative Estate

A Jonathonesque pose.

One down and three to go . . . from the members of Genevan Song, that is. We were overjoyed to see our dear comrade Jonathon, covenant before God to his (now) dear wife Whitney just a few weeks ago. Jonathon was used of God in our lives to help us learn the Psalms in 2001-2002 and lead us as our fearless tenor in putting together the Psalm CDs O Sing a New Psalm and Songs of the Remnant. Sadly, we could only send one delegate to the wedding (Nathan), but we rejoice as we see God blessing Jonathon and Whitney with the gift of marriage and pray the Lord would bless them with an abundance of children.

Groomsmen from around the country: Sam (OH), Joshua (VA), Jonathan(VT), and Daniel (CA).

The Landell ladies made gracious bridesmaids.

Getting ready.

Jonathan and Jonathon.

Wedding party.

The New Mr. and Mrs. Landell!

Our friends the Howards were there . . .

. . . and also the dearest Hughes family.

Three Landell bridesmaids: Anna, Rebekah, and Elizabeth.

Jonathon made a beautiful toast to his wife Whitney.

Off they go, into the night.

May God bless them with many, many years of fruitful marriage.

The Very Special Day

Remember the mystery celebration a few weeks ago? We had such joy celebrating our dearly beloved mother's birthday with a trip down to the city.

Birthday party al fresco.

Foundation Work

Here are some of the pictures from the next phases of work on Nathan's little house.

Digging for the foundation.

Tractor work.

Surveying the dig.

Readying for the pour.

Coming along fine.

Modern Art.

In actuality, the boys were doing a strength test to see how many tools they could hang from the chandelier before it came crashing down--they wanted it to come out of the ceiling. Don't ask. : )

Rebuilding America, One House at a Time

After purchasing a little hundred year old house last spring, Nathan officially started work this fall remodeling it in earnest. Here are photos of some of the work over the last couple weeks.

Confronting the tangled jungle.

"Hey! What you lookin' at?"

Joel "helped" by digging.

The back yard.

Get those weeds out!

The yard-work team.

Looking much better!

A dumpster was the next order of business.

"Do you think we will really fill this up?"

Demolishing the chimney.

Dust is in the air.

Ripping out the cabinets.

Cutting out the floor.

Digging for the addition's foundation.

Well on the way!

Since these pictures the foundation has been poured, rough plumbing is in, old floors have been replaced, and one dumpster has been filled with 60 yards of junk. We hope to get more pictures up of the progress soon--everyday when Nathan arrives home, it is exciting to hear the great leaps of progress!

"Joy to the World . . . ."

". . . the Lord is Come!! Let earth receive her king! Let every heart prepare Him room, and heaven and nature sing! And heaven and nature sing! And heaven and nature sing!"

Today is a very, very special day. In fact, it is so special, that when we woke up this morning the strains of joyous music celebrating the incarnation of Christ wafted through the air.

Can you guess why?

If you guess correctly, we will enter your name in a drawing for a copy of each of our Psalm CDs.
