Goodness! I'd guess the JellyBean factory or some museum of history...but you really have me stumped.

I don't know where you were but is that Ronald Reagan in Jelly Bellys?!

How much of a "guess" does it have to be?!

I'm going to guess it might be related to a bag you left at our house in the guest room. :) (Which Zach and Grace greatly enjoyed by the way!)

It was so good to see you again!

Blessings,

Wow. So, that wasn't too hard. Well, I was going to send the winner some Jelly Bellys, but the kids tell me there aren't any extras (as in, they are all gone!).

Good guessing! The correct answer is, The Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield, CA. Yes, the picture of Ronald Reagan is made from individual Jelly Beans. It's pretty neat. Jelly Belly's were the official presidential jelly bean during Reagan's administration. : )

Oops. I see after sending my comment that you had posted the answer already. I didn't know where the factory was located.

I enjoy checking out your blog. Sounds like you all had a great trip! If you're ever in our area, let me know!

it has to be either a Jelly Belly factory or the Regan Library. I hope there are free samples for anyone taking a guess!

Hmph.. all the times I've been in/near Fairfield, I never knew that's where Jelly Belly's factory is. Of course, when I GET a packet of the things, I'm more interested in enjoying the contents than reading the label!! Maybe next time through there... looks like a fun place, if slightly dangerous (lip smacking sounds go here....). Glad you're back, safe, sound, happy. Thanks for the many reports and great photos.

Speaking of Jelly Belly, Here in Wichita, there was an Air Show called, Wichita Flight festival. It was a great production! Most of the planes were single engines but did some amazing tricks! There was one plane that the announcer made look like it was interrupting the air show! It was pretty hilarious, dropping plane parts, landing too fast on the runway, and dragging its wheels in the dirt! Once it even touched the runway with just the wing! Well, it looked like it! The person flying landed it soon enough. It even had Jelly Belly patches all over it!

It was probably interesting going through that museum.

We had a great time with you when you were at our house!

Dear Gracie,

We'll certainly let you know if we're traveling through. What part of AZ are you in? I sort of thought you were in the southern part of the state. We usually take 40 so as to avoid the heat, but for a change of scenery we might take 10 sometime! It's fun to see your new little blessing getting so big. : ) Enjoy those baby days.

Scott,

Sorry--we're plumb out of samples. : ( Next time we need to bring home a larger sack!

Mr. Jesch,

I'm sure you would enjoy the tour. You'll have to take it next time you're driving through northern Ca.

Dear Mr. Weather Man,

I'll make sure to tell Andrew and Joel about your adventures at the air show. They had SUCH fun playing with you last month (I even posted some pictures to prove it!). Thanks for your kind hospitality. Keep up the good work on the violin!

If you get a hankering for a special flavor of Jelly Belly, there's a Jelly Belly warehouse with a tour a little closer to you-- only about 6 hours away in Wisconsin. :-) Very fun spot!

LeRousse,

You had an unfair advantage! Hmm. Perhaps we should have banned certain people from guessing. : )

Dear Sallie,

We are glad to be home too. We are mostly settled back in and have started up lessons for the fall and things.

Dear Susan,

Excellent idea. When we were out at the Fairfield factory, we noticed that there was one in WI. We'll have to visit there the next time we are driving through! It was good to see you and your mom at Mrs. Moeller's service. Sad and sweet times.

Boy, I'm late on commenting!!!

Wow! I enjoyed ALL the pictures. And, about the Speacial Angles, I immedatly reconnized the toys they're playing with; PLAYMOBILE! ;)

The Serven Clan said...

Excellent Johanna! Do you all have Playmobile at your house too? I loved playing with that when I was a little girl.

Rebecca,

Yes, we have a lot of playmobile here at home. Some of our cousins have a BUNCH more then we do. I'd rather play with dollhouse dolls, though.

Blessings,

Johanna Kautt

P.S. I could hardly believe that you used to play with playmobile (kidding).
