Reformation Day Faire: Friday

Nathan Clark George

Four of the George children sang "This Is My Father's World".

Hanging around telling stories.

Beth enjoyed talking with a sweet young mother, Mrs. Creath.

Some younger ladies chatting.

We really enjoyed the Psalm singing with your family on Saturday. Hearing the full sanctuary singing Psalm 98A later that day was a great highlight of the afternoon!

May you have a blessed week!

Hello, I stunbled apon your blog awhile back and I enjoy seeing how a big family can operate since I am in the process of having one myself! You have a beautiful family! My only question is, why do your adult chidlren not fly the coop and begin serving the Lord on their own whether that be single or with spouses? Isn't that what you have trained them to do? I am not critisizing, Just curious since I have also endeavored to homeschool my 3(so far)children all under age 4. Do you agree with the teachings at www.nogreaterjoy.org?

Dear Yens,

I'm so glad you enjoyed the singing. It is so amazing to get a crowd together to sing praises to the Lord--I can barely imagine what heaven will be like!

Dear Anna,

It was great to see you too, along with the whole contingent from your church! I think all the pastors are scheming various future events. : )

Dear Anonymous,

Thanks for your question and for stopping by our blog! Just as different families do different things, different children in one family do different things. We have sought to follow the Lord's calling on each of the children's life, whether that takes them on adventures outside the home or staying closer to home. God's calling on one's life is something that each parent and child must discern with much wisdom. There are no easy answers, but as you walk by faith, trusting God and joying in each day, He is faithful to make our paths clear. : )

Resting in His joy,
Rebecca
