Rebecca, Well I've only been in the states twice. :)I'm sure you know Sarah and I have met. :) And yes. We'll get to know each other this way. :) May your day be blessed.
I could wish for a burn pile as small and fun as yours is!! Mine was so huge I had to use the tractor to break it into one small burnpile, the rest set apart some distance, and then I'll have to bring it back a bit at a time as the first pile burns down. And that's not even counting last years' pile on my neighbor's land (it was so wet last year no one ever got round to burning it.). Waiting for a day that is too damp to do other outside things, yet not so wet I'll get soaked. Wish I had a bunch of kids here to share in the fun, though.... s'mores, steaks, stick bread, some singing and playing, hot chocolate/coffee.... such fun would make it seem less like work! I am glad to see the young'uns had some fun out of it, though. What great memories they are gathering now!
I'm not sure how to get ahold of your family other than through the blog! :) How have you all been? :) I was looking through your blog and saw that you guys were at the Reformation Day Fair. How neat! :) I asked a friend of mine who was there if she met you and she said YES! How neat that you know some of the Hemmers and Amber! :)
So true. Our creator leaves His children in awe at the work of His hands.
Dear Bekah,
Well, then blogs it shall be! Good to meet you though, and feel free to stop by our blog anytime.
Dear Anna Joy,
SNOW!! No fair. : ) It almost seemed like snow the other day, but it was not quite cold enough. Soon, though. In the meantime we are enjoying the leaves!
Mr. Jesch,
Yes, good memories to be gathered by all. These are happy days at the Servens. We've not had any leave jumping though, as of yet (that I'm aware of).
Dear Sarah,
Thanks for the link! It's always amazing to see how the Lord connects his people all around the country and world.
Dear Danielle,
I'm so glad you left a comment! Thanks for stopping by. I pray for you often. I had a very fun time talking piano with Faith, and Amber is so sweet. We just saw her yesterday!! We need to connect with you and set a day to get together. I'll try to find your e-mail and connect with you that way.

There's nothing like the smell of burning leaves! Autumn is just so beautiful - only God could leave us breathless with His creation! :)
