Looks like you been doing too mugh tweeting!!! LOL! :-) My sister Abby (who follows you on twitter, and vis-versa), showed that to me. I laughed. Too funny.
That last photo, Rest in the Lord's Provision, is amazing.... it captures so well the mood of the day!
I must say, Peter, your work is among the best I've seen anywhere. You have applied yourself very well to the learning of your craft. I can also see another advantage to your assortment of fast lenses (besides avoiding the use of flash most times), and that is the greater abitlity to use selective focus, as in that "Rest" image. Flowers in the foreground very soft, yet recognisable, they being in very sharp focus. Aren't good tools (and the understanding of how to use them) wonderful?
I have SO enjoyed the selection posted here. You've really captured not just some great images but the flavor and mood of the day. You've really put their own unique story here for us to see and enjoy.
That is interesting you don't use a flash ever because I recently talked to a photographer who uses a flash all the time--even in daylight. I wonder what the difference is in the end result...faster lens vs. flash?

The lighting of the photos are wonderful! May I ask what kind of Flash was used?
@ Rachel - Currently I don't use any sort of flash. I lean heavily on fast lenses.
Beautiful wedding photos! I thought her dress was perfect. I hope someday I get to see my daughter walk down the isle with a great guy.
Where was the reception?
Too bad it was raining. Great photos anyway.

Dear Kautts,
The reception was at the building we rent for our church services--quite transformed by all the lights and tables though!

Rebecca,
Oh. It is a pretty building, though.
