Church! Our youngest son and daughter love to gather their stuffed animals and play church on Sunday afternoons. Brother preaches and sister 'plays' the piano. Their older sibling get a kick out of watching them. They've also set up church in the dollhouse too.
Signing the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution?! Oh, voting on the Homeschool bill that was recently passed in Missouri?!!! LOL! This is fun. :-)
Looks like a recital to me. Or maybe a reenactment of the recent concert.
My little brother used to play dollhouse with me. He just played whatever we did; but then, when our parents decided that barbies were bad,(when I was very young) the boys took hammers and screwdrivers to them. It was quite a sight! :)
After that He never played dollhouse much again. :)
Wow. We sure got a lot of wonderful guesses!! Actually, a number of you had it right on the button. Andrew had set up the MO House of Representatives, the MO Sentate, a lobby, offices, etc, all in the girl's dollhouse. : )

Setting up a church meeting?
If it were my boys it would probably be some sort of war-related play like quartering troops or the burning of Atlanta...

Since you just visited your Jeff City, I'd guess they were playing out what they saw in the Mo House sessions.

Planning the garden? Is there a prize? LOL!

Reenacting Appomatox, except with the South taking the surrender of the Yankees?
It looks like a political meeting of some sort. :)
It looks a little like the view my family and I had peaking into the gallery at the MO state capitol during the 291 Rally last week =)
No matter what it is, someone is bound to die. :)
Since it looks like the man up front is playing a piano, I'll go with either the having church idea or perhaps a musical recital/concert....

Using the figures as chess pieces? Having a trial?

Following in the line of Peter's comments... Is it a reenactment of the trial of Sophie Scholl?

Surely not at the hands of any of those sweet, gentle Serven Ladies....
A re-enactment of the concert or the wedding!!
I second Peter's comment. That is what most boys "play" is...or so I've found with four brothers. :) I had to laugh!

Thanks for your creativity!
