" . . . our children belong to the past that they might march into the future in the continuation of God's covenant people throughout the history of the world."
Wow, that's a great picture! :) We have a recipe book filled with pictures of The Saturday Evening Post. I just love to look at them! Very creative and meaningful too! :)
Rebecca, I know this is a silly question but I thought I'd ask. :) Was it hard when your younger brothers got taller than you? I know that's the way it should be because they're men, but it's a bit of an adjustment for me. My younger brother is taller than I am now, and it's more than that too...I guess there's the change, knowing he's getting to be a man, and that I must let him take over that protective and mature role in our family, even though he's still younger than I. I need to look up to him in more than one way. :) And then what did you feel when your younger sister passed you up? You are still the oldest and have that distinctive role, but I guess we have to adjust when they all "grow up." Thanks. I look forward to your thought. ;) S
