Mr. Joe Morecraft speaking at the Liberty Day celebration.
This last week we headed our van northward for the 13th annual Liberty Day Celebration, hosted in Medinah, IL. The speakers this year were Mr. Phil Kayser and Dr. Joe Morecraft. Music was provided for the event by Charlie Zahm and The Western Plains Fife and Drum Corps. We enjoyed hearing lectures on issues of liberty, natural law vs. biblical law, the French Revolution, War Between the States, and Christian living.
Remember to mark your calendars for Liberty Day 2012 (usually in mid-March) to hear Christ honoring teaching and enjoy encouraging fellowship!
Bella's first conference . . . she loved it! :) We were so glad Jon, Beth and Bella were able to join us for the second day of the conference.

Two fun friends.
Mr. Erber tells an inspiring story about the War for Independence.
Charlie Zahm and Tad Marks.
Bella learning how to clap!

One of these days, I hope we can travel up to Liberty Day. I heard about it years ago from a family that attends Pastor Erber's church and helps with it.
We saw Dr. Moorecraft last night down here at the film premiere of Nathaniel Darnell's Jimmy Valient: Scions of Danger.
Bella looks like she is having such fun. What a cutie.

P.S. Did you happen to receive an email from me regarding a homeschool concert? I just need to know if you got it. -- Don't feel rushed to respond to the email. :)
Thanks for posting about liberty day!
I liked all the Bella pictures.
Love,
Beth :)
I must say I love the picture of 'two fun friends' - they are such cute buddies whenever they're together!
