Springtime hits the ServenClan

Apple blossoms.

I'm not exactly sure what kind of tree this is, but the fuchsia color is so striking.

Joely-boy.

Really tiny willow leaves. Right now if you look at our tree there is a sort of green haze all over it which is really pretty.

Pansy-posies.

Susanna,

With these shots I was using my 18-55mm lens. Right now that is my only lens, but I hope to purchase a macro lens soon. Do you have any suggestions for a macro Canon lens?

Sarah,

No, I don't. I'm sorry. I have a Nikon camera, and really don't know hardly anything about Canons. A month or so ago I bought a 50mm 1.4G lens which is very nice, but it gets some getting used to since it's a still lens, but I have a 18-200mm lens too. So, it gives me a nice variety to choose from when shooting. :)

I think the tree with the fuchsia buds is called a Redbud... we have one of those too and I love taking pictures of it!
